Meadows Country Products Mission has been the same since the company was founded in 1928.

To provide our customers with the highest quality fresh products through our team of dedicated employees, with the goal of exceeding our customer's expectations.

In 1928 my Grandfather, James V. Meadows, and his wife Flora, in a desperate move to feed their large family, contacted a friend who worked for the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co.

He agreed to buy Scrapple and cornmeal mush, if they would make it. So, on a wood-fired stove they made these products at night and during the day delivered it to the A&P stores.

Sales exploded and soon everyone wanted their products. Still today,
everyone associates Scrapple with the Meadows name.

Thus began the food processing future of the Meadows family. Progressing through the years, the business and many of the products have changed. Meadows Country Products Premium Deli Salads and Desserts have remained and are now distributed in six states.

Meadows quality-made products are now sold by major convenience stores and served in quality restaurants up and down the East Coast.

One thing that will never change is that we will always continue to provide our customers with highest quality fresh products.

It's been one year since the big move...1999 brought to Meadows Country Products a wealth of changes. These changes were greatly needed.

From our new 11,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, Meadows Country Products has the capability to produce and distribute the finest premium food products available.

Our state-of-the-art building consists of two loading/unloading docks, very large coolers and freezers, high-tech manufacturing rooms and state-of-the-art equipment, a Product Development/Test kitchen and a large warehouse. We still have room to build and expand when it becomes necessary.

Our Location within the Interstate 99 Growth Corridor provides instant access to five of ten major US markets: we are within 500 miles of 40% of the US population and half of the nations manufacturing, trade, and service industries.

As we enter the new millennium, and with changes that are taking place with the government regulations, we continue to train and educate our employees. This is done so we can provide our customers with the highest quality and the safest products available at a price competitive to any products on the market today.

If we can be of service to you, please contact us to arrange an appointment. We will either come to your facility or we would be glad to have you come to see us. We wish you the very best as we enter the 21st Century.

On March 18, 2000, at the Pennsylvania Association of Meat Processors Annual Convention in State College, we entered two of our products. Our Ham Salad  received the Champion Award in the Specialty Pork Category and our Premium Chicken Salad received the Grand Champion Award in the Processed Poultry Category.
